What does this calculator divide?

It scales a full-time annual salary by actual weekly hours divided by full-time weekly hours, then by the months you enter out of 12.

Does this include tax?

No. The figures are before tax and other deductions. Shiftbrook does not calculate pay.

Are months equal?

Yes. Each month is treated as one twelfth of the year. A 6-month spell is half of the full-year amount at those hours.
