Clock-in
Clock in when you reach the site.
The Clock page shows the site, whether you are clocked in, and the time. Clock in reads the phone only at that moment and checks it against the site pin.
Start freeA pin on the site
Set the location under Settings, then Locations. Search the address and drag the pin. The default radius is 100 metres, and it can be set from 25 to 1000 metres.
Checked at punch time
The phone is read when someone clocks in and when they clock out. Shiftbrook does not follow it between punches. A reading coarser than 100 metres is ignored.
Outside the pin
If the site location is not set, clock-in stays closed and a manager is sent to set it. Outside the pin, the punch is refused unless the organisation is set to record a reason and flag it.
A flagged manual time
Managers can add a manual clock-in or clock-out. It needs a note, and it is stored as flagged. If time capture is timesheets only, the clock stays hidden.
